Lagerfeld out of Chanel?

Rumors say that Karl Lagerfeld's reign at Chanel is ending.
Fashion is in a time of transition, Galiano fired from Dior, Carine out of Vogue Paris and now it's time for Chanel to change too.
It has been heard that Alber Elbaz from Lanvin could be the perfect substitute for Lagerfeld, and that for Lanvin, Olivier Theyskens, former Nina Ricci designer, could take over.
But what happens to Karl Lagerfeld? Will he say goodbye to the fashion world?

Emmanuelle Alt's First Issue Vogue Paris April 2011

After Carine Roitfeld left French Vogue, the former fashion editor, Emmanuelle Alt, took her place as editor-in-chief.
In her first issue, we can see the diference between the two of them. Emmanuelle seeks to give a more feminine, simpler look to the magazine and to give more importance to the clothes, while Carine had a more edgier vision.
