Marc Jacobs nunca pára de nos surpreender nas suas campanhas, depois de em 2007 escolher Dakota Fanning com apenas 13 anos e depois a ex Spice Girl Victoria Beckham para serem as caras da sua marca agora é a vez de Helena Bonham Carter.
A excêntrica actriz e mulher do realizador Tim Burton foi a escolhida pelo designer para a campanha de Outono de 2011, desta ninguém estava à espera de certeza.
Demonstrando a sua grande personalidade numa fotografia de Juergen Teller que foge do tradicional e esperado, dá-nos apenas um pequeno preview do que está para vir.

Marc Jacobs never ceases to amaze us in his campaigns, after choosing Dakota Fanning with only 13 years old in 2007 and, then the ex Spice Girl Victoria Beckham to be the label's faces, now it's Helena Bonham Carter the chosen one.
The eccentric actress and wife of director Tim Burton was chosen by the designer for the Fall 2011 campaign, no one was expecting this, I'm sure.

CFDA Awards, and the winners are...

Foi ontem à noite que se juntaram vários nomes conhecidos numa homenagem ao mundo da moda, nos CFDA Awards. Estes prémios são como os Oscares da indústria da moda, onde são homenageados os melhores designers do ano.

O evento decorreu no Lincoln Center em Nova Iorque, reunindo celebridades, designers, modelos e todos aqueles interessados e relacionados neste meio, numa noite onde reinou o gosto pela moda.

It was last night that many known figures were brought together in an homage to the fashion world, on the CFDA Awards. These awards are like the Oscars but for the fashion industrie, where the best designers of the year are honored.
The event was on the Lincoln Center in New York, bringing together celebrities, designers, models and fashion followers, on a night where style reigned.

Criada em 1984 em honra da actriz Jane Birkin, que durante uma viagem de avião, confessou ao presidente da Hermés, Jean-Louis Dumas, a dificuldade que tinha em encontrar a carteira ideal. O modelo Birkin possui uma lista de espera que pode durar até dois anos, devido ao facto de só serem produzidas 5 Birkins por semana.
